Arcadia — Brain Training & Trivia
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arcadia (“the App”, “we”, “us”), published by Amjad Mohaisen, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. Arcadia is a brain-training and trivia game. You do not need an account, email, name, or login to play. We designed the App to collect as little personal data as possible.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier (IDFA) & ad-interaction data | To show ads and measure their performance | Google AdMob (only if you allow tracking — see §4) |
| An anonymous, random player ID (generated on your device) and a nickname you choose | To run “Play with Friends” matches | Our backend (Supabase) |
| Match data — match codes, scores, and timestamps | To let friends see each other’s results in a shared match | Our backend (Supabase) |
| Push notification token & app language | To notify participants when a friends match ends, in your language | Our backend (Supabase) → Apple Push Notification service |
| Purchase status (which in-app purchase you own) | To unlock purchases and remove ads for premium users | Handled by Apple; we never see your payment card details |
| Game Center player identity (if you use Game Center) | Leaderboards and achievements | Apple Game Center |
| Game progress, coins, XP, streaks, settings | To save your progress | Stored only on your device |
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data. The nickname you enter is optional and can be anything you like.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles beyond what the ad provider described below does with your consent.
The App uses these third parties, each with its own privacy policy:
On first launch the App asks for permission to track using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow it, ads may use your device’s advertising identifier for personalized advertising. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Premium (ad-free) users are not shown ads.
Friends-match records are transient and kept only as long as needed to run and display a match; they may be removed automatically after a match ends. Push tokens are kept while they remain valid so we can deliver match notifications. On-device data stays on your device until you delete the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.
Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
Arcadia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data transmitted to our backend is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Our service providers (Google, Apple, Supabase) may process data in countries other than your own. By using the App you consent to such processing in accordance with those providers’ policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
